So, my third year at Iowa State is D-U-N done! One year left to go here, then on to who knows what. It's been a good year, lots of new challenges and strides in the right direction, I think. Over the summer I will be running a flooring crew full-time while apprenticing a painter in Des Moines and working on a grant project! My plate is pretty full again, but this should be a great summer!

My grant project is going to be a 3-5 piece sculptural series discussing the creative process and the human form using ceramics, metal, and fiber. It should be pretty amazing since I get a decent budget to work with for once.

Well, my third semester as an art student has come to an end, and I'm fairly pleased with my progress! Good grades all around and my skills have improved greatly. There's still a long long way to go, but things are looking good, and I can't wait to really get the ball rolling. There are gonna be a lot of exciting things happening in the future and I can't wait to share them with the community. So thanks to all who have supported me and my work, given comments, added favorites, and helped to inspire. Keep on designing!

Well I entered my first art show! Two of my three pieces got in, but won no awards. Well, on to the next one.
